We had an incredible dining experience at Weng Kee Seafood Restaurant in Sekinchan. Initially, we planned to try Loong Hua but it’s not opened for walk in guest, Pre booked reservation is a MUST. So we ended up here based on its great reviews and feedback. We were not disappointed and left without any regrets. The dishes we ordered were Steam Lala, Sweet and Sour Flower Crab, and Egg Steamed Prawns. Every dish was delightful and exceeded our expectations. The flavors were spot on, and the seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked. Moreover, the prices were affordable and reasonable, making it a fantastic value for the quality of food served. If you're in Sekinchan and looking for delicious seafood, Weng Kee is definitely worth a visit!!!

It seems the food portion at Sekinchan is real big, fresh with reasonable price. Good place to enjoy your lunch in a hot day since it is air conditioned. Another home cooking style restaurant managed by a family. The prawn is big, fresh, very reasonable price. The sweet sour pork, M size, was shocked with the size but we finish it. Just the tomato sauce bit watery, low density, else perfect. The steam egg well flavored, serve with rice.

A simple air-conditioned restaurant. Food is good, home-cooking style. Price is very reasonable. We ordered small portions and the serving is generous. Vegetarian dishes available on request. Dishes we had are steamed red snapper (RM28), salted egg mantis prawn (RM28), fried mixed vegetables (RM13) and foo yong egg (vegetarian, RM13)

Don't let the surrounding environment of Weng Kee Seafood fool you—it might give you an old Hong Kong vibe (a bit rustic and unpretentious), but trust me, it is absolutely worth the try! This restaurant stands out compared to others in Sekinchan, primarily because the food was simply delicious and the flavors were spot-on. Must-Try Dishes The kitchen here truly excels at classic dai chao cooking. Based on my meal, here are the highlights: Signature Claypot Fried Pork: This dish was a massive hit. The pork belly was cooked to perfection, coated in a dark, rich, savory, and slightly spicy sauce, served piping hot in a claypot with onions and spring onions. It's packed with flavor and highly addictive. Steamed Crabs with Ginger/Egg White: The crabs were noticeably fresh and sweet. Steamed in a light, fragrant broth with ginger and what appears to be egg white, this preparation really lets the natural sweetness of the seafood shine. Crispy Salt & Pepper Squid/Mantis Prawn: Perfectly fried until golden and crispy, this dish had a fantastic texture. The seasoning—likely a mix of salt, pepper, chillies, and spring onions—was full of savory aroma and spice. Signature Steamed Fish: The fish was fresh, succulent, and coated in a unique green-hued sauce, likely a tangy blend of lime/ginger/chilli. A true showcase of fresh catch prepared expertly. Other dishes was okay Weng Kee Seafood is the definition of a hidden gem. While the setting is humble, the quality of the seafood and the mastery of the cooking are simply superior to other seafood restaurants in Sekinchan. If you're looking for delicious and a wow factor in Seafood don't hesitate to visit. Total bill RM 300++

Driving back from Perak and stopped by this humble family owned restaurant. Food was very generous portion and really enjoyed it here. Fish was very fresh as per expectation near the sea. Well cooked Steamed with Sauced. Wanted to order their signature tofu but the ingredients was sold off during to popular demand. We ordered the Kar Hiong Tofu instead and the tofu is yummy. The minced meat is a bit salty though. Would visit again next trip :)

Went for lunch with family members. Table almost full but was served very fast. Ordered 4 dishes. Taste are good but marmite pork ribs many are with bones, less meat, hopefully next round can improve on this. Price is reasonable. Recommended to have lunch or dinner at this restaurant.
